Seashells of Sanibel and Captiva Islands

August 24, 2006: The Bailey Matthews Shell Museum released their “Seashells of Sanibel and Captiva Islands” poster this summer. Designed by Museum Director Dr. Jose’ Leal, this poster features 65 beautiful full-color images of the shells found here on the islands. Sanibel and Captiva Islands are home to some of the most beautiful species of mollusks found in North America and this poster brings them to life. This work of art makes a great gift and can be found exclusively through the Museum Store.
