Doc Fords - Fort Myers Beach:

Located under the Fort Myers Beach bridge, this award-winning restaurant is sure to please. Arriving by boat pass around the north end of the Beach around Bowditch Point Park, pass under the Matanzas Bridge, Doc Fords will be on your left. FUN FACTS: The largest shrimp boat fleet is located across the water from Doc Fords on Ft. Myers Beach and provides a beautiful view. Popular writer Randy Wayne Wight can frequently be found dining, socializing and sometimes writing his next novel in Doc Fords.

The menu is similar at all three locations: Sanibel, Captiva, and Fort Myers Beach. Signature items include Shrimp and Grits, Fish Tacos, and Yucatan Shrimp. Mary Ellen Pfeifer's favorite is the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Tostados.
