Is the Ragged Ass Open? 2024 Update: The currently list the Ragged Ass as permanently closed after Hurricane Ian. For many, this was an iconic destination by boat, car, or chopper. We can only hope that they will be able to reopen this lively spot.

Located on the Monroe Canal, the original bar/restaurant dates back to 1954. Great tiki hut, fun food, and the friendly crowd where most come by bike or boat to enjoy live music and cold beverages. Stop by and relax under our large TIKI hut. Listen to live music performed on the outdoor stage with an attached dance area. Come by boat, we expanded our boat docks. Come by car or bike we have plenty of parking. Seating is also available overlooking the water on the Monroe deck.

From the Intercoastal Waterway maker 13 find take the main entry into St. James City then turn onto the second canal - the Monroe Canal. Call: 239-283-5555
