    Trails in Motion - Sanibel Bike Paths

    While most visitors and many residents don't know who or what Trails in Motion is, they have benefited from their tireless efforts to maintain and expand the shared use paths that cover over 26 miles on Sanibel Island. The Sanibel Trails in Motion Fund is a non-profit group organized by The Sanibel Bike Club. They count on our support to advocate for safe and enjoyable bike paths on the island.

    FISH of Sanibel and Captiva

    F.I.S.H. stands for Friends in Service Here. FISH offers a Walk-In Center for local island residents in need. They work with several Lee County United Way Agencies to provide Food Programs, Social Services and Helping Hands.

    Pfeifer Realty Group has had the honor of sharing our parking lot with F.I.S.H. from April of 2008 when we opened our Sanibel Real Estate Brokerage until June of 2015 when they moved to their new location at 2430 Periwinkle Way. We have been able to see those in need as they come in and out of the their office as well as interact with their staff and volunteers.

    Community Housing and Resources, Inc is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides housings for many families who work full time on Sanibel or are retired or disabled residents on the island.

    Founder Curtis Perry a part time resident artist who lived on Captiva went door to door in 1927 to convince islanders to support the concept of a gathering place with money, materials and their labor.
