Many buyers are driven and motivated by the convergence of large inventory and low interest rates (buyer’s market conditions). These buyers are remaining unemotional during their search for a property in their price range. The other type of buyer in today’s market is also driven by the advantages of purchasing their “dream property” in a market that favors their timing. The major difference between these two buyers is their emotional attachment to the property.

    Pfeifer's Real Estate Commercial wins 2006 Telly Award

    Eric Pfeifer's Television Commerical won the 2006 Telly Award for the best Real Estate Agent TV spot in the United States. Award credit goes to creative director and producer Mark Meyers of Trademark Films. Mark's talent and Eric's message merged to produce an award winning spot. After winning the top Florida Real Estate Commercial and the best in the south, "Real Estate Is..." went on to win the top award for the country.

    Earnest Graham Attends Sanibel Flag Football Trophy Night

    Sanibel Flag Football - Earnest Graham
    Trophy Night for Sanibel’s youth Flag Football League ended with a grand surprise. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Running Back Earnest Graham stopped by the football fields to pass out the trophies and sign autographs. Earnest spoke to almost each player and parent for over an hour as 115 excited young football players waited to greet him. Graham is from Ft. Myers and played for the Florida Gators before signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Most recently he is launching the Earnest Graham Foundation which is dedicated to helping children find their talents and develop their confidence and respect of self and others they reach for and achieve new goals.

    Something Funny Happened On the Way to the Office

    One day, I woke up to my alarm clock and said to myself, “This will be the perfect day in real estate.” Little did I know, it was never meant to be.

    Normally I will wake up in the morning, pour myself a cup of coffee, and head to the computer to check my e-mail. Boy was I surprised to find an e-mail from a local condominium owner requesting a listing presentation. Not only had I never met the owner before, but he said that he must list the condominium immediately for personal reasons. Forget the coffee, I was awake! It normally takes about four hours to prepare a listing presentation if the Realtor does his or her homework properly. That morning, I did not have time. It was 5:30 AM and I had to show property to a prospective buyer at 9:00 AM

    Working With Sellers

    As I mentioned last week, working with buyers can be very exciting and often time consuming. When the buyer finally decides to purchase, it can be extremely rewarding for both the buyer and the Realtor. Equally as rewarding is working with a seller and assisting them with the sale of what can be possibly their largest asset. As I just mentioned recently to one of my clients, I treat their property as if it were my own, and I take extreme pride in listing and selling their valuable asset.
