This Gulf front vacation complex has 122 units. The minimum stay is 7 days. Sanibel Moorings has two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, tennis courts, kayaks and canoes on site, barbecues and picnic areas, conference room, fitness center, wi-fi, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and elevators. There is also an extensive botanical garden surrounding the property with butterfly gardens complete with garden tours. In fact, the botanical gardens are so beautiful that Artists are encouraged to enjoy the Plein Aire Painting Days any Wednesday 9am-4pm. Owner pets are allowed. Location: East Gulf Drive, Sanibel. There is also plenty of dock space at the Moorings where owners and visitors can bring their boats up to 25 feet in length and enjoy exploring the Gulf of Mexico and the fishing in and around Sanibel Island.

The Sanibel Moorings offers 4 different floor plans ranging in size from 550 sq. ft. to the luxury town homes (only 2) with 1170 sq. feet of living space. The two largest units 1221 and 1211 were the original sales models when the Sanibel Moorings was being developed. The original design called for only 26 total luxury units to be built. However, when buyer demand increased in the early 1970, smaller units were designed and offered.

Sanibel Moorings offers a fully staffed rental management office that help owners generate income while maximizing the guest's experience. Owners who choose to live full time at the Moorings can use cleaning services, linen service, full time professional maintenance staff all at a reasonable hourly rate.
