Can you imagine designing your own designer outfit out of trash? Well your opportunity is here!

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge, the “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society is hosting a fundraiser - Project Refuge - A Couture Fashion Show Using Trash on March 10, 2020, to benefit conservation efforts at J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge. The Project Refuge Committee is seeking resourceful, creative, inventive, and style-savvy individuals to enter wearable fashion created from materials that might otherwise have ended up in a landfill or recycling facility. Think outside the bin!

ENTRY DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 1, 2019

Juried designs will be showcased at a fashion show and "Twist Tie Optional" luncheon at the Sanctuary Golf Club. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three designs.

The Project Refuge Committee is seeking inspired, resourceful, and style-savvy individuals to enter wearable fashion created from materials that might otherwise have ended up in a landfill or recycling facility. Think outside the bin!
