Shell Harbor

One of Sanibel's largest canal front communities. Owners enjoy a connecting network of waterways to kayak, boat and explore. All canals lead out to San Carlos Bay and the Gulf of Mexico via "Prince Inlet". Most homes enjoy sea walled canals, and some have direct access. As the name implies, the streets are all named after Sanibel shells: Limpet, Tulip, Whelk, Oyster, Kings Crown, and Sand Dollar Drive.

In addition to waterfront living, owners in Shell Harbor also have private beach access with large deeded parking located next to the Sanibel Inn on East Gulf Drive. Shell Harbor is also conveniently located to the Sanibel Causeway for easy off-island travel.

HOA Fees: Contact us for current information. The fees are moderate and cover the Deeded Beach parking and board walk to the beach. Broker-Owner Eric Pfeifer and wife Mary Ellen built a home in Shell Harbor in 2008 after selling their home on the Sanibel Golf Course in Beachview Estates.

There are several Full Service Marinas located in the area and many great Day Trips & Dockside Dining places to explore by boat.
