This stretch of island is home to Luxurious residences such as Le Jardin, Kittiwake, BayWatch Estates and Aquamarine - just to name a few. BayWatch Estates 3 acres property with a cottage, cabana and cabin, 2 private docks and Blindpass beach access. Kittiwake is an Old Captiva Style home located directly on the beach in the southern estates section of Captiva. It is common for the houses in this area to be named. Other popular hotspots include: Jensen's Marine, 'Tween waters Resort and downtown near Andy Rosse Lane and of course the beaches!

Turner Beach at Blind Pass, Captiva Island has a rating of 4.6 stars. Both beaches are very popular for fishing, shelling, and jet skiing. Turner Beach is wonderful because of its unique rock jetty, but there is a severe current so beach goers need to be cautious here.

Just 3 miles from Turner Beach is Jensen's Marine. Purchased in 1977 by the late Richard “Red” Jensen with some partners. He opened Jensen’s “On the Gulf” Beach Resort down the road about a year later. The Engles family built the cottages in the 1950’s. Red Jensen built the cottages at the gulf-side property. Today, part of the 14 cottages and 35-slip marina is designated historic by Lee County. The Jensens have become an inextricable part of the island community. Nicknamed the “guardian angels of Pine Island Sound.” This amazing island institution that has been Jensen’s has been here for more than 40 years. A beautiful piece of property as well as Captiva history. (credit Florida Weekly) Tween Waters Resort combines historic charm with luxurious amenities. The resort was established by F. Bowman and Grace Price in 1931. Started with just a single building it expanded over the next 30 years with many more cottages. Rochester Resorts purchased the property in 1976. For centuries Tween Waters has inspired many famous people to visit. There are 19 historically preserved cottages named after some of its famous guests such as J. N. "Ding" Darling, Ann Morrow Lindbergh and United States President Teddy Roosevelt. A beautiful destination resort with a history of hospitality.
