Clamshell

This small Gulf front vacation complex has only 6 condominium units. The minimum rental period of 30 days gives owners more privacy with less frequent vacation rental turnover. Clamshell owners enjoy a heated community swimming pool and owners are allowed to have pets. Location: Olde Middle Gulf Drive, Sanibel.

FUN FACT: A Clamshell is a bi-valve, which means there are two shells that hinge together to cover and protect the soft mollusk inside. Uni-valve seashells consist of one shell often in a spiral shape that protects the soft mollusk from predators.
